A decade ago I started cooking during my bachelorette years. That was survival. Then I met my finicky husband with an insatiable hunger for perfecting dishes. Together we took our family meals and perfected it. This blog is our experience.

Hey! I'm a super busy mommy to 3 year old mixed gender twins. I guess that's enough said about the amount of time i get to spend cooking :). Most of the food I cook is about saving time, but not compromising on flavour. My biggest supporter is my hubby, who loves trying out new recipes and experimenting with different flavours. We love entertaining friends, and our home is the usual watering hole in our gang. So we try to come up with some innovative, fun food. Hope u guys like them!

Everything is better on a full stomach. I cook when I am happy, tired, depressed, anxious, and it always makes my day better. And we always have people over, and it gives me plenty chances to keep trying out new recipes.

Food is my solace anytime. And cakes and desserts are the best for that. For my first 3 years of baking I had to get innovative since I didn't have an oven. And so all my cakes or anything I baked were in pressure cookers!! The food I make is simple and easy, no fancy stuff here :) ( Am still a rookie when it comes to cooking ) I love Japanese, Malay and American cuisines. And as much as adore appams and stews and Rice and fish curry. You get the idea!! Enjoy life, Enjoy food and the happy lil' sweet things!!

Somewhere along the way I got obsessed with food. Not so much the eating it but more the cooking it. It was simply divine to see people relish the food I had prepared and then to see the perfect look of satisfaction on their faces. That was it! I did not need the compliments – it was the look that had me hooked. You know the one I mean. It all started with my hubby’s love for flavorsome food which led to my quest to make that happen and this subsequently gave birth to The Culinary Trail.
