Hey! I'm a super busy mommy to 3 year old mixed gender twins. I guess that's enough said about the amount of time i get to spend cooking :). Most of the food I cook is about saving time, but not compromising on flavour. My biggest supporter is my hubby, who loves trying out new recipes and experimenting with different flavours. We love entertaining friends, and our home is the usual watering hole in our gang. So we try to come up with some innovative, fun food. Hope u guys like them!

Everything is better on a full stomach. I cook when I am happy, tired, depressed, anxious, and it always makes my day better. And we always have people over, and it gives me plenty chances to keep trying out new recipes.

Disclaimer: I'm more of a gastronome than a cook. I love to eat. I love experimenting. In recent years, I've realised that I savour everything that's authentic, true to its roots and made from fresh ingredients - from the tear inducing "kallu shaap meen curry" (toddy shop fish curry) of Kerala to the delicate Mediterranean Smoked Salmon Salad, from French Baguettes to fluffy "Appam"s, from my Mom's Mussel's Pickle to Buttered Escargots. It doesn't take any special effort - I somehow seem to instinctively get "this is how its supposed to be" when I taste the right stuff. Cucumbertown is my inspiration to discover great dishes and cuisine from all over the world that goes into my "eating" bucket list. :)

My love for baking is pretty recent, I started exploring it about 2 years back and since then there was no turning back. This is one thing that really excites me but also, helps me calms down when the need be. I mostly bake for my friends and family and for the satisfaction that I get by making them happy. Hope you like my recipes enough to go back and try them out yourself :)
