Am a journalist with an almost unhealthy fascination with food. My journey with cooking started off with disastrous misadventures while a student in Bangalore. But a few burnt aprons and cut fingers did not put me off the, frankly enticing prospect of cooking. After a few years of living alone, lets say I'm now more sure footed in le kitchen! I love experimenting with my own recipes, and am constantly imagining flavours in my head.
  • Shaheen AliBy Shaheen Ali

Hi, I'm Shaheen, born and raised in a gastronomic family where every conversation revolves around food and cooking is most relied on approximation and eyeballing the ingredients or ratios and proportions for measurements. A die heart foodie and a physiotherapist by profession, I came into blogging with a motive to pen down my experience of learning and refining in the journey with food from home and the world beyond, from street food to the fine dining, from mom's recipes to Chef's talk. Spoon Fork And Food was created on a lazy summer afternoon in the fall of 2014 in an effort to keep my sanity in check. This blog is a collection of good food and fond memories that remind me of my mum's home cooked food, those that transport me to distant moments of childhood or shared happy times with loved ones, friends and family. Recipes here are a reflection of me, my roots, who I was, who I am and who I will be as I evolve with the foods I discover, embrace and make them my own!

  • malihaBy maliha

Hi, My name is Maliha and welcome to my Blog! This is where I share recipes, pictures, and ideas for simple, no fuss cooking. I believe in moderation in food. A lot of my recipes pack in vegetables and fresh ingredients, I try and create healthy wholesome snacks but I also feature decadent desserts that are just pure indulgence. The name Spice meets Cake is a well thought out name. Spice refers to my cultural Pakistani food roots where spice is one of, if not the most important part of our cuisine. And Cake represents my cross continental move to England where I began and ran my cake business for many years. The blog will have a mixture of recipes ranging from savoury and sweet, Pakistani and English, and most importantly, of curries and cakes. After many amazing years in London, we moved to Copenhagen last year because of work and this is where I currently blog from. Please feel free to look through the blog and enjoy!
