It was my first time away from home and was missing my parents anniversary. cooking gets me joy I decided to prepare a small feast for my roomies. in between the submissions and projects i managed to cook this PANEER KOFTA CURRY, alongwith some gajar halwa and gulab jamun.
This is a recipe for Salted Caramel Pudding served in individual cups. It is a rich, delicious pudding to share with friends (or yourself. It's just as delicious straight out of the mixing bowl). This does not include the recipe for the caramel sauce and whipped cream.
This is a more refined version of scalloped potatoes. It you like scalloped potatoes you will love potato pave as it adds a layer of texture that cannot be found in scalloped potatoes. Pave is a French word for "paving stones" and the names comes from the way the potatoes are stacked creating a beautiful layer of potatoes with cream, cheese, salt and pepper.
This is my first batch of home made ice cream and I have to confess, I never thought it was gonna be that easy. Or I would say "therapeutic"! After debating over French and the American, I finally decided to do it the French way. I have adapted the recipe STRAWBERRY SWIRL VANILLA ICE CREAM a.k.a Miss PINK CHEEKS (as I like to call it) from Food Wanderings. The post may look long, the process may look long but trust me...the entire making was an absolute ease. And I must tell you about the ice cream. One word...No More Store bought!!! Well that's four words actually, oopsie! It was THE perfect scoop of ice cream I have ever had. I didn't taste the egg at all, the texture was so smooth and silky, and ice crystals? What Ice Crystals??? This recipe is a definite keeper.
